We are hiring for a responsible housekeeper.
JOB
Responsibilities:
- Perform housekeeping & janitorial tasks as assigned.
- Provide laundry services as needed and/or directed.
- Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice and individuality of our residents and staff while maintaining of a comfortable and calm environment for residents.
- Demonstrate knowledge of infection control procedures (training included).
- Communicate and monitor supply and equipment needs to leadership while avoiding loss, breakage, and waste of materials.
- Communicate to the appropriate party of any observed problems, concerns or issues involving the facility or the grounds, as well as resident rooms, including the resident's status or needs.
- Observe all work, safety, and administrative rules, including fire safety.
Qualifications:
- A passion for helping seniors.
- Ability to perform the physical movements necessary to complete tasks for an extended period.
This may include the ability to move furniture.
- Approach to-do lists with vigor and respond productively to new assignments.
